What is this?

Indie Author Media is a book-marketing agency. Authors who work with us connect their Threads account here so we can create posts about their books and publish them on their behalf: choose the cover photo, write the text, add a topic tag and alt text, and post it to their profile. We also show how those posts perform.

By connecting, you allow Indie Author Media to read your Threads profile and posts, publish posts to your profile, and read their insights, under the terms of your service agreement. You can disconnect at any time from your Threads settings → Website permissions.

The permissions we request

• threads_basic
Read your Threads profile and posts — username, name, picture, bio, recent threads.
• threads_content_publish
Publish posts with an image and text to your Threads profile on your behalf.
• threads_manage_insights
Read your account and per-post insights — views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, followers.
